Mosaic Templarsn Cultural Center Assignment

"Black Fraternal Scoiety's History saved by New Arkansas Museum"
Before Reading Article

I did not know much about the history of Little Rock Arkansas, however I knew that back than in the Southern States slavery was extremly popular. During slavery, many people suffered because of the control of the white population. There were many leaders and abolitionists speaking for the African Americans and other race in the southern states.

After Reading Article

I learned many things after reading the article. I learned that theMosaic Templars Cultural Center is Arkansas's state funded museum dedicated to the story of African American life and business. It focuses on all the facts of slavery and the history of Arkansas. They also focus on the culture and surroundings from the 1870's. This museum educates the people about black establishments in politics business and arts. It teaches you the symbolism in African American heritage and interprets the meaning of togetherness during those times.

Eliza, I'm happy you found the article interesting. No one speak much of the Mosaic Templars. They remain a private fraternity.
